Challenge 1: ‘Water’ Great 10k

During our 10,000km July challenge we’ll be asking you to do some mini-challenges. Some are simply fun, some might be a bit more, well, challenging.

The Evesham Town 10k water station provides welcome relief to runners as they pass by the beautiful Hampton Ferry twice during the route.

The first challenge is a simple one. Run 10k this weekend, but make it water themed in the most imaginative way you can and add a photo as a reply to our Facebook post or on your run in our Strava club.

Please do not do anything risky or dangerous around water!

There is some rain forecast, so you could just go for your wettest run ever, find the most beautiful lake or river you know, have part of the run around your garden while someone sprays a hose at you, set up your own fancy water station … whatever you can think of.

If you want to be hyper-accurate, our water stations are placed at 3.6km and 6.9km from the start.

Don’t forget, if you don’t use Strava you can submit your run here to be added to our total.
